  • Confirm your registration

    • Unsure of your voter registration? You can same day register at any polling place in Vermont

  • voting in-person

    • You can vote in person on Tuesday, August 11th at the Winooski Senior Center (123 Barlow St)

    • Polls are open 7 am - 7 pm

  • Put it in your calendar if you’re voting in person

    • Block off time on August 11th. Polls are open 7 AM–7 PM.

  • Plan your route

    Know how you're getting to the Winooski Senior Center. Walking? Biking? Driving? Need a ride? Figure it out now, not at 6:45 PM on Election Day.

  • Bring a friend or neighbor

    Tell someone else your plan, and ask them theirs. Voting together makes it more fun, more likely to happen, and more powerful.

Talk to your neighbors about August 11th

The most powerful thing you can do isn't just vote; it's make sure the people around you vote too. Research consistently shows that a personal conversation with a neighbor or friend is the single most effective way to get someone to the polls.

You don't need to ask who they're voting for. Just ask about their plan. Here are some great examples:

  • “What's your voting plan for the August 11th primary?”

  • “Did you know you can register to vote right there at the polls? If you’re worried, I’ll go with you, and we can figure it out together!”

  • “I'm heading to the Winooski Senior Center on August 11th to vote; want to walk over together?”

  • “The primary is where Winooski's vote really counts; what’s your voting plan?”

  • “If you're 17 and turning 18 by November 3rd, you can vote in the August 11th primary. Know any young people who need to hear that?”
