ENDORSEMENTS
I'm doing something a little different with my campaign
Most candidates collect endorsements from politicians and elected officials across the state, people who have never set foot on our streets or spent time in our community. That didn’t feel like the best fit for me. I want my campaign to be truly people-powered, endorsed by the neighbors, business owners, educators, and community members who make Winooski thrive.
Winooski is a special place, and I know the people who live here, work here, and raise their families here have the most powerful voices for what this city needs in the Statehouse. So instead of collecting names from politicians in Montpelier, I'm collecting them from Malletts Bay Ave, Elm Street, Dion Street, and everywhere in between. From the folks I see at City Council meetings, at the farmers market, and at school events.
“What a generous, kind, badass community organizer Al is! They walk their talk and truly believe in supporting ALL members of our Winooski communities. They show up as a collaborator, leader, guide, and trailblazer!”
Kim Jordan, Winooski
“I have had the pleasure of working with Al in community and city government. I find it admirable the way they show up in all spaces, with thoughtfulness and presence. At a time where government is failing its citizens, it’s necessary to have new voices, new perspectives, and new approaches in leadership.”

“I’m endorsing Al because they are one of the most reliable, principled, and community-minded people I know. I’ve watched them consistently show up for others, doing the hard work of supporting community even when it’s difficult, unpopular, or controversial. Al has a strong leadership background, a clear moral compass, and the courage to speak up for what is right. I believe they would be an exceptional representative in Montpelier because they genuinely care, listen deeply, and lead with both conviction and integrity.”

“Al's enthusiasm and involvement in local government has been an inspiration to me. They consistently show up to all sorts of activities in Winooski with curiosity, dedication, and humility. They listen to their neighbors and volunteer for efforts big and small to build the community we need. Their experience in local government and activism has impressed and inspired me to get more involved in the causes I believe in.”

“Al brings broad knowledge and practical experience to our community. They are well versed in the nuts and bolts of systemic change while bringing a compassionate, inclusive vision to these complicated challenges. I think Al will represent Winooski with an intimate understanding of this diverse community combined with savvy leadership honed in their years of advocacy work.”
